INFORMATION FROM BELFORD PARISH COUNCIL:-
418 SERVICE WOOLER/BELFORD/ALNWICK
Following comments from residents, concerning bus stops for this route, we have been in touch with Borders Buses. They have been most helpful and we can now confirm the situation.
We have arranged for a "Hail & Ride" system on West Street and established the safest point for this to happen - Bell View, before Williams Way (Westbound) and the War Memorial/Well (Eastbound) - see Point D on aerial map attached.
Drivers are only allowed to stop where it is safe to do so and this is the only spot on West Street where other vehicles rarely park.
We hope this will assist residents to utilise the service.
